What is Shizzlr?
Shizzlr is for showing you what's going on and allowing you to group message with your closest friends about it. It's about seeing what social things are happening around you and then making plans in a private chat room over texting.
What can I do with it?
You can see social events happening and places to go within your town or school. Once you see what's happening, you can start a Plan with a few friends and have a group discussion about what to do. When you start a Plan, you select some friends and enter a message like "Hey what's up for Friday?" The message is sent to the group and when they reply it goes back to whole group.
How do I get started?
Signup here, click add plan, enter a message and add some friends. Note: you'll have to add your phone number when you signup to be part of the group texting discussion. You'll have to enter your friends numbers the first time too. You can also download our iPhone app or our Android app.
What if I don’t have a smartphone?
We support every phone that can send and receive text messages. If you can text message and use the web, then you can use Shizzlr.
How much does Shizzlr cost?
Shizzlr is free to use, but please be aware that standard text messaging rates (as per your agreement with your cell carrier) may apply.
What about privacy?
Privacy is held to a very high standard in Shizzlr because it's about personal conversations and plans with your closest friends and the public doesn't need to see or know any of that. Only your Shizzlr friends can see your plans, and only the friends in a plan can see and be part of the discussion.
What's the best way to use Shizzlr?
Use Shizzlr to check out a few places to go and events going on in the next few days. When you find something you like, or just want more input, start a plan with the friends you want to go with so they know about it and you can figure out the details. Talk as much or as little as you want, and then enjoy what you planned.
